A Ritual of Care

Cared for as it always has been.

In cold water, with patience, and time.

This piece is made from delicate fabric.

Wash cold, on delicate cycle with wash bag.

Hang to dry, as they do in the summer sun.

Steam on low heat to ensure comfiness, if desired.

Do not tumble dry.

With care, it will soften, age, and carry its story forward.

A quiet ritual, passed from one generation to the next.

  • Wash in cold water only. Use a delicate or hand-wash cycle and place garments in a wash bag when possible.

Hang to dry, steam on low heat if needed. Do not tumble dry. Avoid high heat.

  • We recommend steaming on low heat rather than ironing. Steam relaxes fibers gently without flattening texture or stressing delicate details.

Avoid direct high heat and tumble drying.

  • Not every wear requires a wash. Allowing garments to rest between wears helps preserve fibers and prolongs their life.

Fresh air, gentle steaming, and time often restore softness and shape.

  • Air drying is part of our care philosophy. Hanging garments to dry allows fabrics to move and settle naturally, as they have for generations.

  • Store garments folded or hung in a cool, dry place. Keep bags in their dustbags to avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight when not in use.

Allow space between pieces so fabrics can breathe.

  • Small variations in color, texture, and embroidery are part of what makes each Terzi Evi piece unique. These details reflect the handmade process and should be embraced as character, not imperfections.

  • Accidents happen. If you’re unsure how to treat a stain or mark, we recommend consulting a professional cleaner experienced with delicate, natural fabrics, or reaching out to us directly at Terzi Evi.
